Description: This project aims to design a knowledge-based prediction model for associating Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) with phenotypic traits towards a better understanding of disease related SNPs architecture. To this purpose, expert knowledge about interactions between SNPs and target phenotypic traits will be modeled and used to enrich machine learning-based prediction models allowing the identification of potentially informative sets of SNPs.
